Laser Engraving

Laser Engraving or Marking is a computer-driven process whereby an image, logo or text is engraved onto an object by removing approx 0,7mm to 1mm of the surface of the product. The laser head guides a beam of light which is driven by a computer onto the item being engraved. An ideal method of marking coated metals, plastics and hardwoods, allowing for very fine detail. Laserable materials are a practical alternative to traditional brass and aluminium plaques and are quick and easy to engrave. Stainless steel or reflective items can now be boldly marked in black. Different materials give very different results with laser engraving.
